Secretary General calls for closer NATO-EU cooperation to bolster security

On the day when NATO and EU nations showed solidarity, strength and resolve in wake of the Paris attacks, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called for NATO and the EU to work even closer together. In an address to the European Defence Agency on Monday (16 November 2015), the Secretary General outlined three areas where the two organisations should cooperate more closely including on meeting hybrid threats, supporting partners and encouraging a competitive European defence and security industry.
