Coronavirus response: NATO delivers ventilators to Allies in need NATO Allies decided on Friday (23 October 2020) to deliver 60 ventilators to the Czech Republic in response to the COVID 19 pandemic. The ventilators will be provided from the stockpile of medical equipment and supplies that NATO established to be able to provide immediate relief to Allies or partners in need. |

Coronavirus response: United States delivers ventilators for NATO stockpile On Friday (18 September 2020), the United States donated 200 ventilators to a stockpile of medical supplies that NATO has established to respond to a potential second wave of COVID-19. The US Agency for International Development delivered the ventilators to the NATO Support and Procurement Agency’s Southern Operational Centre in Taranto, Italy. Civilian and military officials from Italy, the United States and other Allied countries attended the handover ceremony. |

Coronavirus response: Spain delivers critical medical aid to Iraq On Sunday 26 July 2020, in response to a request for COVID-19 relief aid from Iraq to NATO’s Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC), Spain handed over critical medical supplies to Iraqi authorities. The donation by the Spanish Ministry of Defence was handed over to the Director of the Prime Minister´s National Operations Centre Major General Mohamed Al Shimary, by the Deputy Head of Mission of the Spanish Embassy Mariana Figueroa Sánchez, during a small ceremony at Baghdad International Airport. |
