on Battlefield Helicopters

Area of interest

Open to regular attendance to NATO and Patnership for Peace Nations, LG 10 is in charge of air vehicles for tactical mobility, primarily helicopters, and their associated components, equipment, weapons and procedures.

LG/10 is mainly dealing with the following topics:

    - future requirements for helicopters for the following missions: attack, reconnaissance, transport

    - equipment to be fitted on the various types of helicopters: navigation aids, mission planning systems, self protection systems,etc...

    - weapons (air to air, air to ground)

   - standardisation of Mission Equipment Packages and Automated Mission Planning System thanks to STANAGs

   - upgrade of equipments for peace support operations and evaluating lessons learned from these operations
