The Group of Experts, chaired by Madeleine K. Albright, was convened by the NATO Secretary General to lay the groundwork for the development of a new Strategic Concept for the Alliance. Having completed their task, on 17 May they submitted to the North Atlantic Council their analysis and recommendations. Along with the report itself, speeches, photos, audio and video are available on the website, as well as an interview with Madeleine Albright.

The experts group represented a broad spectrum of large and small NATO members and offered a balanced combination of insiders and outsiders, including from the private sector, think tanks and the academic community.
