SHAPE, Belgium – Thirty-four students from the Karl Arnold Foundation visited the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe today to be briefed on NATO operations.

German Army Sgt. Olaf Rosenbaum gave a short introduction to the group to highlight the history of the organization. This was followed by an in-depth briefing from British Royal Navy Cmdr. Martyn Reid.

The students then took part in a one-hour panel discussion with German military officers working at SHAPE.

The 34 students, hailed from Germany, Poland and Romania.

The Karl Arnold Foundation, based near Bonn, Germany, aims to expose it’s students to a wide array of international organizations.
