Czech Republic National Bank Commemorative golden medal Czech Republic - 12 March 1999 The Czech national bank is issuing commemorative golden medals on the occasion of both 50th anniversary and the accession of the Czech Republic to NATO. One side of the coin shows NATO's star with the inscription "Accession of the Czech Republic to NATO" while on the other side smaller NATO's stars are combined with NATO's 50th anniversary logo.
