Greek KFOR supports Kosovo children
The Greek 525th Infantry Battalion of Multinational Task Force East (MNTF-E), in the frames of its general efforts for the maintenance of stability in the region of Kosovo and its activities targeting to help the residents of the area, donated school supplies.
The donation included such items as school bags and stationary, in the most remote villages of Greek area of responsibility and specifically in the villages of Topille/Topilo, Lanishte/Laniste and Greicece for roughly 65 children of elementary schools of the Shtime/Stimlje municipality.
The response of the residents of the area, mainly children was cordial. Their gratitude was expressed fervently to the Greek Forces, as they were the first who visited these remote regions after the establishment of KFOR in the area. The Commander of the Greek Battalion of MNTF-E, Lieutenant Colonel Boudouris Dimitrios and the CIMIC officer, 1st LT Adoniou Dimitrios attended the events.
