KPC Fire-exercise

Former Kosovo UCK fighters learn to rescue, medevac and to protect. More than 300 Kosovo Protection Corp members exercised forest fire fighting skills 29 April to 3 May conducted in Multi-National Brigade South. After a short logistics exercise, members marched to the exercise area near the Albanian border and assessed the terrain, practical fire-fighting exercises, practiced evacuating injured people from the area.

The exercise, in which the local people were role players, serving as injured people and other roles were able to watch "spider man" medevac show in which a rescuer with special shoes lowered down on a rope from a helicopter and helped evacuate a wounded person out of a mine-field. The show ended the exercise.
