On February 21, the Spanish TF “TIZONA” organised a multiethnic soccer tournament among tree schools of Istok Municipality.

At 12:30 in the school located in Zac, with a great number of spectators, the tree school teams “Bajram Curri” of Istok, “Fan S. Noli” of Durakovac and “Avni Rrustemi” of Zac, began the triangular tournament.

Colonel Soroa -the Spanish Task Force Commander-, a representation of the Municipality and the principals of the schools presided the event. TF TIZONA provided the sports equipment and the referee -a NCO- to make possible the tree games among the schools. Each team plays a 20-minute-game versus the other two schools.

“Avni Rrustemi” and “Fan S. Noli” teams began the triangular. The “Avni Rrustemi” team won the tournament. All players received a bag with school material and two shirts given by the Spanish TF.

Bajram Curri, with more than 1600 pupils -most of then K-Albanians-, Avni Rrustemi with almost 550 pupils -most of then K-Albanians too, with an important representation of RAE,s.-, and Fan S. Noli -most of then Bosniacs with an important K-Albanian representation-, showed both competition and sportsmanship, besides the normality that must preside the life of Kosovo among the different ethnics in the next future.

Together, SP TF TIZONA and UNESCO “ARAGÓN”, did coincide the event with The International Year of Sports, showing the real advances of the multiethnic integration in Kosovo.
