NATO-Ukraine cooperation and European security "Ukrainian-NATO cooperation as an important aspect of the strengthening of the European Security System" was the theme of a NATO-sponsored seminar held in the industrial city of Luhansk in eastern Ukraine, on 24 October. Different aspects of NATO-Ukraine cooperation were discussed, such as civil emergency planning, peacekeeping operations, as well as the more global issue of European integration and Ukraine's contribution to European security. The seminar was organised by the Center for Journalistic Studies, Kyiv, and was attended by Ukrainian government and parliamentary officials, local representatives, journalists and NATO experts.
