NATO Secretary General, Lord Robertson,
to visit German and British troops in Germany

The Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, will visit German and British troops in Germany, on Friday 6 September.

In the morning he will visit the German 21st Armoured Brigade "Lipperland" in Augustdorf. During this visit the Secretary General will be accompanied by the German Minister of Defence Dr. Peter Struck. They will attend a demonstration by the 212th Mechanised Infantry Battalion. A media opportunity will take place at 12.15 hrs at the site.

In the afternoon he will visit the London Scottish Regiment in Sennelager where he will receive a briefing on the "London Regiment Exercise", visit the training grounds and meet with the soldiers. The Secretary General is Honorary Colonel of the Regiment.
