Secretary General's Press Statement The Secretary General strongly condemns the recent violence directed against SFOR and the international community. He fully supports the steps taken by SFOR, in co-operation with the High Representative and other international organizations, to ensure appropriate control of the specialist police, to support the IPTF and to prevent the outbreak of hostilities. He reaffirms that SFOR will continue to carry out its mission firmly but fairly and will not tolerate the use of force or intimidation as a means of resolving political issues. SFOR will not hesitate to take the necessary measures including the use of force against media networks or programmes inciting attacks on SFOR or other organizations.
