Североатлантический совет выражает глубокую озабоченность в связи с объявлением Северной Кореи о намерении осуществить в этом месяце ракетный запуск ракеты с использованием технологии баллистических ракет.
Такой акт будет прямым нарушением резолюций 1718 и 1874 Совета Безопасности ООН. Он может привести к риску усиления напряженности в регионе и еще большей дестабилизации Корейского полуострова.
Мы призываем власти Северной Кореи выполнить свои обязательства в рамках международного права и строго соблюдать волю международного сообщества, выраженную Советом Безопасности Организации Объединенных Наций, и мораторий на запуски ракет.
