Visite du groupe de travail OTAN-Maroc

Les 26 et 27 septembre 2012, le groupe de travail OTAN-Maroc, constitué de représentants de haut niveau issus de plusieurs ministères marocains et des forces armées royales marocaines, s'est rendu au siège de l'OTAN pour une série d'exposés et de débats avec des responsables du Secrétariat international et de l'État-major militaire international de l'Alliance.

Les thèmes abordés ont notamment été les suivants : programme individuel de partenariat et de coopération de l'OTAN ; coopération militaire dans le cadre du Dialogue méditerranéen ; rôle de l'OTAN dans la lutte contre le terrorisme ; coopération OTAN-Maroc dans le cadre du programme pour la science au service de la paix et de la sécurité ; possibilités de coopération dans les domaines de la gestion des crises et des plans civils d'urgence.

Lors de cette visite, le groupe a eu l'occasion de rencontrer, entre autres, M. Gianfranco Incarnato, représentant permanent adjoint de l'Italie auprès du Conseil de l'Atlantique Nord, M. Marc Abensour, représentant permanent adjoint de la France auprès du Conseil de l'Atlantique Nord, M. Alain Tellier, chef de la section politique de la délégation conjointe du Canada, et M. Nicola de Santis, chef de la Section Moyen-Orient et Afrique du Nord à la Division Affaires politiques et politique de sécurité de l'OTAN.
