Standardization Agreements / Accords de normalisation
NATO Standardization Agreements for procedures and systems and equipment components, known as STANAGs, are developed and promulgated by the NATO Standardization Agency in conjunction with the Conference of National Armaments Directors and other authorities concerned.

| AACP-1 | AACP-1 sets out guidelines to facilitate the development of effective arrangements for armaments co-operative programmes. Part I, and its supplements, provide guidance for the drafting of co-operative programme Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), whereas Part II advises on ways to enhance collaboration between governments and industry at early stages of a programme. |
| AACP-2 | The manual sets out a complete set of guidelines for the contracting process of the entire programme life-cycle, from the feasibility phase through to and including the production phase and -once completed- the logistics support phase, for use sequentially in co-operative programmes. |

| AMSP-01(A) | December 2009 - The NATO Modelling and Simulation Standards Profile (NMSSP) aims to provide guidance to NATO and partner nations, as well as national and NATO organisations who have requirements to effectively use modelling and simulation (M&S) in support of NATO coalition and national requirements. The NMSSP maintains information on M&S standards and recommended practices relevant to achieving M&S interoperability and re-use of M&S components, e.g. data, models. The NMSSP provides a set of standards descriptions for decision making on options for the use of M&S standards for NATO activities, e.g. coalition training and experimentation. |
