On 15 and 16 October 2012, a delegation of high-level Israeli opinion leaders, brought together under the auspices of the Interdisciplinary Centre Herzliya, visited NATO HQ for a two-day programme of briefings and discussions with NATO civilian and military officials, as well as with Allied representatives.
The delegation, led by Major General (ret.) Danny Rothschild, Director of the Institute for Policy and Strategy at IDC Herzliya, met notably with NATO’s Deputy Secretary General Ambassador Alexander Vershbow.
The visit took place in the framework of NATO's Public Diplomacy activities under the Mediterranean Dialogue.
