How to apply

Before applying, please read these instructions carefully.

Candidates must apply for a specific post shown in the list of vacancies.

Applications must be made using the NATO application form, which you can find here in two formats (only one of which need be completed for each post):

For freelance and permanent staff interpreters:

The completed form must be sent by e-mail to:

Recruitment.A@hq.nato.int for category A & U posts
Recruitment.LBC@hq.nato.int for category L, B and C posts 

The candidate will receive an automatically generated acknowledgement of receipt. In the absence of this acknowledgement, candidates are encouraged to resend their application to ensure that it reaches its destination and can be taken into consideration. 

Please make sure that you have followed all the instructions, as indicated, in the Vacancy Notice (see paragraph ‘How to Apply’ on the last page.)

U.S. applicants who wish to be hired by NATO on a reimbursable basis need to apply using usajobs at:  http://www.usajobs.gov/. NOTE: Only selected A-grade postings are offered on a reimbursable basis.

The NATO HQ Recruitment Office handles applications to join the International Staff of NATO in Brussels only. Any requests for information about other NATO bodies or agencies, or applications for positions there, must be sent directly to the body concerned.
