by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the meeting of the North Atlantic Council at the level of Defence Ministers
OK. Good afternoon. I think we are ready to start.
At our Summit in Warsaw, we decided to strengthen our defence and deterrence. A year later, we have fully implemented our increased presence in the Baltics, Poland and the Black Sea region.
NATO is also stepping up in the fight against terrorism, to ensure our plans are implemented swiftly and efficiently, I have appointed my Deputy Secretary General, Rose Gottemoeller, to coordinate our counter-terrorism efforts. In this session we will take stock of our progress, on land, at sea, in the air, and in cyberspace. And we will discuss our plans for the future.
This ends the public part of this meeting.
