2005–2008:  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Russian Federation and, by non-resident accreditation, to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, based in Moscow
