At the meeting, they discussed with NATO Allies the first progress report on Montenegro’s participation in the Membership Action Plan (MAP).
Allies encouraged Montenegro to continue efforts towards Euro-Atlantic integration and to address outstanding reforms in order to meet Alliance standards. Allies also commended Montenegro’s steadfast commitment to regional and international security and thanked Montenegro for the valuable contribution to NATO’s ISAF operation in Afghanistan.
