Visit to NATO HQ of an inter-ministerial delegation from the United Arab Emirates

On 26-27 February 2015, the NATO Political Affairs and Security Policy Division organised a visit to NATO Headquarters for an inter-ministerial delegation from the United Arab Emirates to discuss the development of an Individual Partnership and Cooperation Programme (IPCP) between NATO and the UAE.

Secretary General: NATO and the EU can achieve more if we work more closely together

NATO Secretary General: One of our greatest strengths is our ability to adapt

The NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Wednesday (25 March 2015) that the Alliance “is used to the long haul. And one of our greatest strengths is our ability to adapt.” He was speaking at the opening of the annual NATO Transformation Seminar in Washington, DC (United States) on “The Warsaw Summit and Beyond,” organized by the Atlantic Council and the Allied Command Transformation and attended by NATO Permanent Representatives, the Supreme Allied Commander for Transformation, General Jean-Paul Paloméros, and the NATO Military Committee. Mr. Stoltenberg added that “Allied Command Transformation plays an important role in NATO’s continued adaptation to a changing world”.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg thanked Canada for its significant contributions to the Alliance during a visit to Ottawa on Monday (23 March 2015). “Canada is a committed Ally and a capable contributor to international security,” he said. Mr. Stoltenberg stressed that “Canada plays a major part in our decision-making and helps keep the vital bond between Europe and North America strong.”
