Operation Allied Force Update Yesterday, NATO used continuing favourable weather conditions on Day 67 of Operation Allied Force to press on with its attacks against a wide range of Serb forces. In Kosovo allied aircraft struck at least nine artillery pieces, eight mortar positions, eight tanks, five armoured personnel carriers, two air defence radars and a variety of other military vehicles. Other facilities that support Serb forces in Kosovo were attacked, including Other areas targeted: MUP headquarters at Prizren Pristina An air defence command post at Rakovica and a command post at Livadica Airfields at Sjenica Ponikve Batajnica Highway bridges at Bare Popovac Donje Trnjance Storage areas at: Pristina Vucitrn Besinje Belgrade Ammunition depots at Surdulica Vrdnik Belgrade Pirot Boljevac Pristina Kraljevo Nis Gnjilane Kursumlija Army barracks at Pec Pristina Leskovac Kraljevo TV/FM relay and radio relay stations and AM radio broadcasting stations at Vranja Rapca Dimitrovograd Nis Pristina Kragujevac Nis In addition, a military vehicle storage area at Nis and a support base at Krivovo, a VJ tunnel staging area in southern Kosovo and a factory at Dakovica being used as a military barracks, a training area at Pukovac and a boarder post at Restilica were also struck. NATO flew 697 sorties, including 309 strike and 85 suppression of air defence missions. All NATO aircraft returned safely. Allied Force operations are underway on Day 68.
